Tails Dog Walks started off as just me caring for family and friends’ dogs and pets during their holidays, followed by occasional dog and cat sitting through agency sites during my time at university and finally has progressed into a full time profession. Now I am able to put 100% of my time and effort into caring for beloved pets on a daily basis and I love it. No day is the same at Tails dog walks, we like to diversify our walks and daycare activities for optimum fun and stimulation for us all.

I have experience with a range of dog breeds, cats, rabbits after having grown up with many pets and taking an active role in looking after them from a young age. Through university I missed being able to have pets and decided to start taking more pet sitting jobs and after graduation I was lucky enough to be able to take it full time. I have a keen interest in animal welfare, have taken training courses and try to support many animal rescue groups including Spaniel Aid, Valgrays Border Collie Rescue and The Dogs Trust. Well behaved dogs with good manners are happy and safe dogs, I try to teach and encourage good behaviour habits during my services through positive reinforcement and lots of yummy treats.
I am currently working towards CPD certified courses in Dog Training Essentials, Canine Behaviour and Canine Communication.
I have a PDSA Pet First Aid qualification and DBS checked.
